It’s only a short walk to the train station. They also offered the Ticino Card, which made access to public transportation easy! The hotel is family run. Nikoli was very helpful with information about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

The Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss is located on the lake-side promenade of Ascona, 300 metres from the centre. It offers historic-style rooms and free internet access. Perfect location, very helpful and welcoming staff

Once a patrician residence built in the 18th century, the Hotel Tamaro can be found right on the banks of Lake Maggiore in the centre of Ascona. Exceptional views straight to Lago Maggiore. Our room was spacious and comfy and the balcony big enough to enjoy the view with a cup of coffee. The staff very friendly and the breakfast very rich and delicious. Also here you could choose to eat inside or outside, on the lake shore, absolutely amazing! It is 5 min walk from the bus stop and in the city centre so walking distance to practically everything. The port is not even 50 m away. Would recommend it!

Completely renovated in 2013, Hotel Rio Muralto is located in front of the train station, 1-minute walk distance from all alle the public transport and the funicular to the Madonna del Sasso. Super close to the train station but so quiet and a very easy walk to the lake or middle of town.

The Hotel Du Lac is located 200 metres from the train station, the funicular, the pier and the bus stop for all your excursions and is only a few steps away from Locarno's old town and the lake. Central location, clean facilities, nice view.

Caffè dell'Arte Boutique Rooms Locarno sídlí ve zrekonstruované historické budově z 15. We had a wonderful experience sitting by the open window in our room overlooking the street filled with bustling people. The Risotto Fest was amazingly fun and delicious. We loved visiting with the locals at the tables. Great location just minutes away from the Plaza and to the train.

Hotel Dell'Angelo je kompletně zrenovovanou historickou budovou, která se nachází v centru města, v nejdůležitější části Locarna, Piazza Grande, poblíž nádraží a jezera. Lokalita byla perfektní, hotel je přímo na náměstí, všude blízko, i do podzemních garáží. Obsluha ochotná, snídaně kontinentální, ovšem každý si vybral to své. Výborná káva. Hotel is situated on the square, every turistic places are near the hotel, parking is less then 5 minutes from the hotel. Friendly stuff, rich breakfast, excellent coffee.
