Superb hotel, a few minutes walk from the centre of Colchester, maintaining a standard that would match any, anywhere. Clean, comfortable with a fully equipped bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with table service rather than buffet. Free secure parking in the grounds of the hotel. The hotel is excellent value for money.

The breakfast was very good when compared to US standards. The airport is 7 minutes away, and there is an airport shuttle that runs every 30 minutes 24 hours a day. The shuttle costs 4GP. Staying at this hotel is less expensive than staying in London and you can take a train from the airport to london for around 30GP.
