Staff was excellent Ms Barbara at reception, Akhil at bar and this other gentleman who ushered us at lunch to our seats, the Chinese waitress at breakfast ....all amazing plus food surpassed anything ever had before.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels. amazing location. Wonderful breakfast. rooms are big enough and modern. The hotel is walking distance from the city center. new owners. will definitely come back.

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... Location was amazing and great for exploring. Brett and Anthea were delightful and made us feel so welcome.. The food was amazing with hearty portions and the accommodation was quaint and cosy. The scenery is overwhelmingly beautiful. We were so blessed with the beautiful weather and took advantage of exploring Keswick and surrounds.

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. Excellent accomodation in a great location. Beautiful rooms and a good selection of cold and hot breakfast options served in a lovely dining room.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. Wonderfully quirky little B and B. A very comfortable room with enough bedroom space. Loved the claw bath, this was in the bedroom, I loved this but some may not. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This little place was the perfect walking distance to Bowness for restaurants and Windermere for shopping.

If we could give this stay an 11: we would! The location was central, right in the heart of Ambleside. The room was warm and inviting with fluffy towels and the bed comfortable. The spa was lovely and was used every night after our daily hikes. We enjoyed the wine and other complimentary items every night while using the free wifi to plan or watching Netflix and Sky TV. The abundant breakfast options every morning were delicious and Niall with his local knowledge provided us with many helpful suggestions which we followed and enjoyed. Thanks for having us! We will definitely rebook when we return to Ambleside from Australia!
