Riverbank, Country Pub and Guesthouse er staðsett í sveitinni, í 10 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Carrickmacross og býður upp á veitingastað. The grounds were great, a small creek running thru, sheep in the pasture, the Inn itself was beautiful. Very well cared for. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The management and staff were friendly and were happy to get us whatever we needed. The pub was where we spent many an hour where we were able to get some research work done. Fire in the fireplace every night. The dinner meals we had were yummy. Breakfast was also good with good choices. All said, it was a great four nights and we will be back!

Amid the hills and lakes of Monaghan, this modern 4-star hotel has plenty of leisure facilities, a relaxing spa and the opportunity for outdoor activities. Lovely place. The lady working the desk at the spa (Tara?) was fantastic! We didn’t eat at the hotel so I can’t report on that.
