Offering free parking just 8 minutes’ walk from Galway’s centre, Ash Grove House offers freshly cooked, full Irish breakfasts. I was super grateful to be given a room on the top floor - not only quiet but cosy, nicely decorated and with self-regulated heating. Bathroom well-sized, modern and super clean with instant hot water. Breakfast was amazing, too - choice between several options and while I twice had the Irish breakfast, e.g. the pancakes looked great, too. The room was ready when I arrived a bit before check-in time, and the host was super welcoming. Good location, if you don't mind walking a bit into the city centre (and prefer being away from the hassle). Supermarket and several food options within 5 min walking.

Located just 1.5 km from Killarney High Street, Gleann Fia Country House offers guests e car charging and free parking. Located on the river Deenagh with acres of wild garden. The House is beautiful, very well decorated, clean. It is surounded by beautiful nature, but still close to the city. Breakfast was amazing. The hosts are super friendly and give great tips about every little detail about your trip.
