Paola was welcoming us with a cooled bottle of water and the best tips on where to eat in Ortigia. The room we booked was great, shabby-chic with lots of trinkets, making it feel quite unique. Especially the shower had a very cool look and great water pressure. It also has a nice breakfast place and the probably Sicily's greatest granita shop right next door.

Il Duomo sídlí v historické budově z 19. století na hlavním náměstí v Siracuse a nabízí pokoje s vlastní koupelnou, klimatizací a bezplatným Wi-Fi. Personal byl fantastický. Výhled z pokoje super a snídaně předčila očekávání. Káva prostě italská dokonalost :)

Hotel Borgo Pantano se nachází v přírodní rezervaci Ciane e Saline, 7 km od Syrakus a nejbližších pláží. Poskytuje výhled na okolní krajinu, klidnou polohu a venkovní bazén. Amazing staff. Fabrizio, Zaira and many others were super helpful at any demand. The owner/manager Giusi was always there helping out with hints and a constant eye for every detail. Breakfast is superb. I can defintely tell that the pictures at Booking.com do not demonstrate well enough how beautifully set is the property. The pool is huge and "resort-like" which is super-handy for the ferocious Sicilian summer heat, however it was never full of people. Just perfect. Spacious and clean rooms.

Hotel sídlí ve 3 historických domech z počátku 18.... What an amazing Charme hotel. The pictures don't do it justice in my opinion as you feel welcome, cozy as well as posh all at the same time. My sister and I shared a room - so spacious (twin bed in a separate space and a queen canopy bed) and included the rooftop private patio. A bonus we did not expect! My father's room was queen and equally charming. The rooms and common areas are well-appointed. You are in a high-end place with reasonable prices- considering the location. The breakfast is amazing. The prunes- INSANE. From made-to-order omelets to fruit and meats/cheese/yogurt and beverages. 10 out of 10. The servers are top-notch and are very attentive. The front desk made several recommendations for restaurants- one, about a 5 min walk from the hotel (same street- just a few mins away) was our favorite meal. Close to everything - yet quiet and peaceful, THIS is the place to be.

This boutique hotel is in the centre of Ortigia, near Piazza Duomo. It is set in a historic building with high ceilings and stone walls. Each of the 6 rooms is spacious and unique. Giovanni and Silvio were awesome! They both went out of their way to help us and make us feel welcome. Giovanni sent Silvio to the “rescue” the night we arrived as we got stuck in a narrow street blocked by another car. Silvio was exceptional!

Palazzo Artemide - VRetreats is in the heart of Ortigia Island, next to the Cathedral. It offers free lobby Wi-Fi and modern, air-conditioned rooms. The palazzo archimede is a great place to stay. Located in the center of Ortigia near the Duomo, the the staff are excellent and very friendly/helpful; the rooms are extremely clean, comfortable and well appointed; and the on sight facilities are excellent. It was a very relaxed place to stay and made our holiday just that little bit more special!

Giuggiulena B&B nabízí bohatou snídani, prostorné pokoje a přátelské služby. Fantastic location over looking the sea, sunsets and sunrises magical and at times mesmorising! A really chilled atmosphere about the place, beautifully furnished. Breakfasts are amazing with plenty of of choices, home made savoury and sweet dishes. Our hosts and staff were so welcoming, helpful and friendly, would definitely return and recommend this very special place. X
