Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath. This is a great ryokan to stay that's right in the center of Asakusa tourist area, suprisingly quiet despite the location and just a few minutes walk from the hub-bub of Senso-Ji and its environs. The place has a lovely vibe even though they've been operating for 80 years, you could tell they take great effort in maintaining it well. The staff's extremely lovely and professional, very helpful. The baths on 6th floor look wonderful (though we didn't have the time to enjoy it and just took a peek). Also, you can understand the cultural tidbits of your room and Japanese practices in an easy-to-read pamphlet and the information guide in your room, nice touch! Recommend the non-Western rooms if you can afford it.

Shiba Park Hotel stojí jen 2 minuty chůze od stanice metra Onarimon a 4 minuty chůze od stanice metra Daimon. Nabízí prostorné pokoje s TV s plochou obrazovkou a bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. The hotel in a great location, the beds are very comfortable and the shower is great. The staff was really helpful, especially the hotel manager (he was there in the mornings). Do not miss the resturant! We are major foodies and it was amazing.

Hotel Ryumeikan Ochanomizu Honten byl otevřen v srpnu 2014 po důkladné rekonstrukci a nabízí srdečnou pohostinnost již více než století. The size of the room is amazing for Tokyo. From the tetami mats to the super bathroom, it makes you feel like you are visiting a traditional Ryokan. The front desk is super helpful. They were able to help arrange last minute restaurant reservations. A 10 all round. Location is super. Not crowded, loads of restaurant options and only 15 minutes walk to Akihabara, Imperial Palace

Set within a historic Japanese garden, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo offers spacious rooms with garden or city views and free Wi-Fi. Beautiful gardens, several dining options, central location.

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. The friendliest and most welcoming staff you could imagine. We stayed two nights here and enjoyed the traditional setting though I did add an extra layer of padding to my futon bed. The private bath was lovely after a long day and there were icy poles to enjoy afterwards. The breakfast room (not currently serving meals as at Nov 2024 though) has coffee and cute activities like origami. Overall a great stay.

APA Hotel Sugamo Ekimae se nachází v Tokiu, jen 1 minutu pěšky od stanice metra JR Sugamo a sjezdu z dálnice A4 a 20 minut chůze od zahrady Rikugien, a nabízí veřejné lázně a kompaktní praktické... Many restaurants nearby although Sugamo is a small part of Tokyo. Hotel is very near train station 1-2 mins walk and only few stops to Nippori to take skyliner to Narita airport. Onsen on top floor to relax after a long day of walking.
