Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. The hotel was wonderful from the very first moment. We arrived by car and found organized parking right in front of the hotel. The staff warmly welcomed us, took photos of us with the cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji, and then handled our luggage. Check-in was very clear and detailed, and our room had a stunning view of the lake and Fuji — absolutely beautiful! The location was excellent, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was both delicious and a memorable experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and even felt a bit sad that we didn’t have an extra day there. Highly recommended!

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Breakfast is good, dinner delivered to room and arranged by the lady was very delicious! Good quality meals. Beautiful Lake View room. Shuttle bus is good for us to check in and back to train station. Appreciate!

Very friendly and professional staff, the make you feel very comfortable. They provide a shuttle service from/to Kawaguchiko station which is super convenient. The rooms are lovely and clean; the view from the room is spectacular combining the Kawaguchiko lake and Mt Fuji ❤️

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Absolutely amazing place. The staff was very friendly and polite and helpful.

Ururun se nachází 7 minut chůze od jezera Kawaguchi a nabízí chaty pro 2 osoby s malebným evropským šarmem a vířivkou s výhledem na horu Fuji. The atmosphere of this small village tucked away in the mountains is truly unique. You can feel a soothing calm, especially after visiting big cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, or Osaka. The lady who welcomed us was incredibly kind — she lent us bicycles for a short ride and recommended a lovely little restaurant that was delicious. When we left, she even drove us to Kawaguchiko Station. Everything was perfect; we’ll definitely come back.

Situated right in front of Lake Kawaguchi, Kawaguchiko Hotel offers accommodations with classic modern decors in a historic building. Guests can relax in the public bath. The hotel is super awesome. This is a 100 year old hotel with traditional Japanese architecture. The staff is also extremely helpful. Definitely worth the price.

Just a 10-minute walk from Fujikyu Highland Amusement Park, West Inn Fuji-Yoshida features a public bath and a sauna in the scenic Mount Fuji area. Awesome stay in here with amazing view of Mt Fuji. The onsen was amazing as well.

K’s House Mount Fuji is a 19-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Train Station. It offers simple accommodation with free Wi-Fi, a free-use kitchen and spacious lounge in the popular Mount Fuji area. Having spent some time in a very small hotel room in Tokyo it was great to have plenty of room. There was a nice lounge area where we could talk to other guests and a spacious l, well equipped kitchen. There was a great supermarket just ten minutes walk away (Ogden). Lake Kawaguchi was about 400 yards away where we got a great view of Mount Fuji. So long as you are ok sharing the facilities with other guests, I would thoroughly recommend this place. I should mention that we stayed in a private room rather than a dormitory. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
