Formerly being the residence of the King’s consort, the place has been transformed into an intimate place at a central part of town. This hotel truly deserves to be called ‘boutique’. No grand entrance but guests arrive through a modest door, that adds to the excitement when entering the tropical garden and stylish reception in colonial style. There are 2 beautiful pools with free coffee, tea & cookies available all day. The restaurant offers a great breakfast. Regular prices are bit higher than outside but the cosy atmosphere and high quality certainly make up for that. All rooms seem to be different, I certainly liked mine for the beautiful furniture and large bathroom We didn’t experience any noises from outside as I had read in the reviews.

Centrally located in Phnom Penh, Plantation Urban Resort & Spa is situated directly behind the Royal Palace. Loved everything about the hotel. Brillian location next to the Royal Palace and restaurants, the garden is absolutely gorgeous, the breakfast was fantastic. The rooms are beautifully designed, the entire building is amazing. One of my favourite hotels ever.

Swimming pool is on the rooftop with a view of the river is pretty exquisite. Food from the restaurant was great (with a typical standard hotel's price). My friend and I should leave Phnom Penh by midnight. It was many hours after check out time so after checking out at 12 PM, the hotel allowed us to take a shower at the swimming pool area so we could refresh ourselves before our departure.

The breakfast tastes good, but there is not a wide variety of items. The location of the hotel is excellent. I can see the river view while spending time at the gym. All staff are willing to help me at all times. One day, I dropped my purse in front of the hotel, and both the security and receptionist tried to return it to me before I realized I had lost it.
