Wonderful hotel. They thought of everything and we felt very well looked after. Particularly enjoyed the generous pool.

They had a good parking area for our rented tuktuk. The room was great but what really stood out was the rooftop patio. It was nice seating up there for sunset. The family were very kind. Good location with everything in walking distance. It was quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless!

Srílanská Hotel Dunes Unawatuna je ekologický butikový hotel poblíž krásné pláže Unawatuna (100 metrů / 5 minut chůze). Naprosto profesionální přístup personálu i majitele, který byl na hotelu denně přítomny a stále se ujišťoval, jestli nám něco nechybí. V pokojích bylo úplně všechno potřebné vybavení- dokonce i zubní kartáček a pasta. Dole v hotelu byl barel s pitnou vodou, kde jsme si mohly kdykoliv doplnit pití. Ve skříni dole v lobby byly dokonce čisté osušky na pláž, plážové tašky a klobouky k půjčení zdarma.

We were greeted with large refreshing smoothies,which was a nice welcome. It is a tiny place, only four rooms in a lovely period house with a small garden and a view to the ramparts and the sea. Our room was huge with a big bed and a good bathroom. We were very well looked after by Sunil and Ibram. We have never before had such huge plates of gorgeous tropical fruits at breakfast, which was all delicious. It is a wonderful little oasis in the Fort just near Flagstaff Rock.

Very tranquil place, the garden is stunning, breakfast delicious and you have the luxury of the swimming pool and just a 5 minute walk away also the quiet beach. The train running through the garden only every once in a while makes it extra special. The noise never bothered me while I am a light sleeper (as of midnight until +/- 05:00 the train doesn't pas by anymore anyway). There are many guests who have been coming back for years. That already says enough. The staff is incredibly friendly. Absolutely loved it here, thank you for this special experience and truly hope to come back in the future!
