I had a wonderful stay at Small House Boutique Guest House in Galle. The place is absolutely charming — a cute, cozy house with beautiful décor and such a peaceful vibe. The room was spotless, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. A special thank you to Rumeshika, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. Her warmth and care truly made my stay memorable. Breakfast was delicious, and the location is perfect — right in the heart of Galle Fort yet so calm and quiet. The Galle Fort Hotel began life as an 18th Century Dutch villa and along the way has taken many guises from RAF barracks, post office, bakery, lapidary and in the recent past a pitch for the Fort’s... The location, the design, the atmosphere, the staff, the food and the bar! Oh and the swimming pool:-)

Very tasty breakfast, large cuisine and dining area. Safe accommodation, gate and gate are closed to the lock. There is a place for parking in the territory of the villa. The excellent location of the villa, not far from the bus stop, railway stage and beach. The very good -natured owner helped us deliver suitcases to the station.

Personál byl velice milý a vstřícný. Vše bylo čisté a brunch byl dokonalý. Opravdu krásné, moderní místo. Evropský styl a opravdu výborné espresso 👌🏽 vrátili bychom se zpět.

I recently stayed at this charming homestay located within the historic Galle Fort, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the fort, with easy access to its cobblestone streets, boutique shops, and delicious restaurants. However, the real highlight of this place is its stunning rooftop. The rooftop offers one of the breathtaking sunset views I’ve ever seen, specially you can enjoy lot of people hanging around on holidays with their family & friends , watch locals playing cricket , see people sitting enjoying the sun set on the wall & some even flying kites on the ramparts along with the sunset which is RARE. Every evening, I found myself eagerly heading up to watch the sky transform into a canvas of vibrant oranges, pinks, and purples as the sun dipped below the horizon. The panoramic view of the fort, the ocean, and the surrounding area made it feel like a private paradise. It’s the ideal spot to unwind with a cup of tea or a good book after a day of exploring. My room was beautiful & perfect with the Balcony & it had everything you want to make your stay comfortable. Comfy bed & water pressure was great. It had 2 large French windows which gives a bright light to the room. The homestay itself is cozy and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful tips about the area. While breakfast isn’t included, there are plenty of fantastic cafes and eateries within walking distance, so it wasn’t an issue at all. If you’re looking for a peaceful and picturesque place to stay in Galle Fort, this homestay is an excellent choice. The rooftop alone is worth the stay, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone who loves a good sunset view. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Sri Lanka.

Sergeant House Boutique Villa & Private Beach je butiková vila z 19. století, která se vyznačuje koloniální architekturou a nachází se v těsné blízkosti pláže Unawatuna. Absolutely beautiful Hotel. I would like this to be my home. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is in this area.

Srílanská Hotel Dunes Unawatuna je ekologický butikový hotel poblíž krásné pláže Unawatuna (100 metrů / 5 minut chůze). Naprosto profesionální přístup personálu i majitele, který byl na hotelu denně přítomny a stále se ujišťoval, jestli nám něco nechybí. V pokojích bylo úplně všechno potřebné vybavení- dokonce i zubní kartáček a pasta. Dole v hotelu byl barel s pitnou vodou, kde jsme si mohly kdykoliv doplnit pití. Ve skříni dole v lobby byly dokonce čisté osušky na pláž, plážové tašky a klobouky k půjčení zdarma.

Tento srílanský hotel v koloniálním stylu s výhledem na hradby se nachází pouhých 500 metrů od Národního muzea Galle. Nabízí zdarma Ve všech prostorách je dostupné Wi-Fi. Sunil and Imron made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. The breakfast was a highlight of our day, prepared with care and presented beautifully.
