Great location, beautiful decoration, garden a haven of tranquility in a busy city, lovely rooftop terrace. Ilham’s tagines and breakfasts are delicious. All the staff and servers are helpful. He was attentive, welcoming, and full of great recommendations that made our stay even more memorable. The room was comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated in a traditional style. Breakfast on the terrace was a delightful experience, with fresh local ingredients and a lovely view of the city. The entire team made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. If you’re visiting Chefchaouen, I highly recommend Dar Elrio. The service, especially from Yasen, made us feel like we were visiting friends rather than just staying at a hotel. We will definitely be back.

I really liked the huge bedroom with excellent ac and a most comfortable bed. The breakfast on the roof was a nice treat every morning. I stayed for a week. Hakim, the manager is extremely helpful with everything from airport transfer to things to do and see in Tangier.

Tento marocký penzion sídlí v domě v tradičním andaluském stylu a má krb a terasu s výhledem na pohoří Rif. Nachází se v Chefchaouenu, známém svými modrými stavbami. Our host went out of his way to welcome us and make sure we got settled in, when we arrived late in the afternoon. He made sure we knew where we wanted to go that night, and was more than willing to share both experiences and information about things to do. Last but not least, this super host, had also gone out of his way to personally prepare oatmilk (that I had wished for beforehand) for the following day's breakfast. Which was a pure delight, served up on the terrace, with a great view.

The dinner served on our last night was excellent

Lovely breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff who helped find us when lost in the medina and helped us to book a taxi transfer fo Chefchaouen. Beautiful antique rooms and amazing rooftop with great drinks and friendly service. Highly recommend!
