The place really surpassed our expectations in every way. The location is perfect, fairly close walking distance to all the good spots such as beach, restaurants and bars, but just in the right spot if you want peace and quiet from the noise and the nightlife. Finally, Nico the owner is really nice and was always attentive to anything we needed.

It’s perfect if you are travelling alone, since you will meet a community of very interesting guests who are choosing Las Mariposas since many years for their holidays in town. The location is definitely one of the best, very close to the heart of Oaxaca, and despite that, at night my room was very silent and peaceful. I couldn’t chose a better place to spend my vacation, and I will definitely come back in the future!

The service was beyond expectations. The fresh flowers were renewed every day, making the stay feel like in a paradise. Thanks to all the team. They did all to make our stay unforgettable.

Los Pilares Hotel is located in a charming colonial-style Oaxacan house in the neighborhood of Jalatlaco with a small outdoor pool and free onsite parking. Oaxaca Bus Station is 450 metres away. Beautiful property and hotel. Wonderful location for those interested in Jalatlaco or staying just slightly out of the center. Incredibly kind and helpful staff! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
