The hotel rooms were very comfortable and had a balcony with an amazing view of the pool and sea. We lay in bed at night with the door open and listened to the waves and watched the sunrise. The hotel was just outside the town but there is a lovely promenade outside which leads into the town. Pool towels are provided and there is a small gym (which we didn’t use as preferred to run along promenade). Buffet breakfast was very nice. Car parking available on site. There was a lovely restaurant next door to hotel on sea front which was lovely in the evening.

Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort is located in Ribeira Grande, north coast of São Miguel Island. Beautiful seafront location and grounds. Large rooms with lovely decor. Great food.

Sete Cidades Lake Lodge se nachází hned vedle laguny Sete Cidades na ostrově São Miguel na Azorech a nabízí dřevěné bungalovy s jedinečnou architekturou. Wi-Fi je dostupné zdarma. We absolutely loved our stay at the Lake Lodge. It is perfectly located for exploring the western side of the island. The inside is beautifully decorated. We really appreciated the gift basket of local products that André brought us. Highly recommend!

CASA DA ILHA - Slow Living Residence & Suites se nachází ve městě Ponta Delgada na jižním pobřeží ostrova São Miguel a nabízí vynikající polohu u moře. Pláž Forno da Cal je vzdálená 5 minut chůze. This is a beautiful minimalistic place with a lot of attention to the details. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Good breakfast.

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. One of the best spa hotels in Europe I can think of, it has unhurried, elegant and stress-free ambiance where you can drop in at the 24 hour open pools rich with iron minerals and the stunning volcanic-inspired spa. One of the best meals we’ve had on the Sao Miguel and staff that goes beyond on service without being obstructive. Had the Terrace Double room and very happy about it

Designový hotel Pocinhobay se nachází v malé zátoce na azorském ostrově Pico a nabízí individuálně zařízené pokoje s výhledem na ostrov Faial. Nachází se 10 minut jízdy od vesnice Madalena. The location was spectacular. Sunset views, beautiful rooms, everything was taken care of in detail. The owners are extremely kind and go the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. 100% recommend.

Tento hotel se nachází v centru města Ponta Delgada a nabízí střešní terasu s panoramatickým výhledem na Atlantský oceán, hory a město. Přístav je vzdálený 500 metrů. Very nice location, the suite is quite spacious and the breakfast was decent. Perfect stay, if you want to be close to the city center

My Story Hotel Vila Nova se nachází v centru města Ponta Delgada, 1 km od kláštera Convento da Esperança. V hotelu je venkovní bazén. The location was perfect, in walking distance from the airport, which can be felt througout the stay as you could frequently see airplanes landing or taking off but due to the soundproof windows this is not as bothersome (it was kind of cool actually). The swimming pool was nice! (we also had one plane fly directly above us as we swam) - there are like 10 flights a day and only during the day, being a city airport, there are no flights during the night - so you don't have to fear that a plane will wake you up mid-night. The swimming pool was rarely occupied (we were staying mid-may) the initial dip was a bit cold but it got better fast enough. The staff was super nice, especially the bartender we met on our arrival. The room was nice and clean, with water and capsule coffee being refreshed daily (a regular and a decaf per person per day), the breakfast buffet had a wide enough selection so we could mix up our breakfast across our stay (and always it was nice). All in all a perfect stay, I can definitely recommend this hotel. 😊 PS: the maracuja Kima is a must try! (available at the bar)

Hotel VIP Executive Azores je vzdálen necelý kilometr od přístavu Ponta Delgada a nabízí restauraci s panoramatickým výhledem na oceán. Everything was easy. Staff helpful and spoke english

Azorean Urban Lodge je zrekonstruovaná sto let stará budova s kouzelnou terasou s jídelním stolem a venkovním bazénem. Wi-Fi je dostupné zdarma. This place was perfect to stay the first few nights in Sao Miguel. It had everything you need- comfy bed, separate bathroom and a equipped kitchen. I stayed in a single room the first night and then my friends and I shared a room with three single beds and attached bathroom. Parking can be tricky- the streets are narrow but we did not have any problems finding spots near the lodge. Also, you will hear planes overhead- this is close to the airport so it makes it convenient in that way but if you don't want that noise, you will want to stay farther away from the airport.
