Featuring free WiFi access available throughout, Hotel Fabrica do Chocolate offers rooms in Viana do Castelo, a 6-minute walk from the Lima River. The rooms were amazing, comfortable beds, huge bathroom and shower, and our room even smelled of chocolate! The hotel is close to restaurants. Amazing breakfast, anything you want you can have!

The Hotel da Oliveira is within the historical Guimarães city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Guimarães Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark is 150 metres away. The location, the ambience, and the staff make this my favorite hotel in Portugal. This was my second time staying at the HOOL. I will be back.

Situated in a 12th century Augustin Convent, the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes overlooks Guimarães. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning and cable TV. Our favourite place to stay in Portugal, very spacious, clean and beautiful! Great breakfast!

Located in Braga, Tea 4 Nine Guest House lunch is served in the apartments. This self-catering accommodation features free WiFi. The spot is very closer to the center of Braga, the apartment is super cleaner and it overcame my expectations. It was my first time in Portugal and there is no better place that I’d recommend besides this apartment. The hosting was super kind and left some food as a welcome way. Super nice!! Looking forward to be back in another opportunity =)

Located within Guimarães city wall, in a manor house from the 18th century, Casa do Juncal combines history with modern comfort and elegance. Everything was amazing. As announced and shown in the pictures.

Located in a pedestrian street of Viana do Castelo city centre, Casa Manuel Espregueira e Oliveira is a renovated 19th-century townhouse with a 24-hour reception and an airport shuttle. Tot. Està ben situat, és un edifici antic, molt bonic i el personal és molt atent i agradable.

Situated in the historic centre of Ponte de Lima, this guesthouse offers individually decorated rooms with a modern bathroom. Guests can relax in the common living room or cook in the shared kitchen. The room was incredibly well priced for the space.

This newly renovated mansion is peacefully situated in the heart of Afife, and offers warmly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy regional cuisine and relax in the gardens with its pool. Stayed here while walking the camino and i felt so recharged after just 1 night here. The room was large and had a view to the garden and pool. Kind owner who gave advice for my next leg on the camino, A short walk to some restaurants and a supermarket.

Situated between the city of Braga and the Gerês Mountain Range, this luxurious hotel is a former Cistercian Monastery of the XII century. Facilities include an outdoor pool and a tennis court. It’s magical atmosphere. The people who had the vision to resurrect this monastery are well deserving of the Pritzker award! One doesn’t get tired of wandering around the property, and discover or imagine what life must be like when the monastery was fully functioning.
