We were in Dark Chocolate - comfy and it even smelled of dark choc. Lovely toiletries all chocolate. Amazing, really amazing breakfast.

The Hotel da Oliveira is within the historical Guimarães city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Guimarães Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark is 150 metres away. Beautiful, traditional hotel. Very quiet with an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended!

Situated in a 12th century Augustin Convent, the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes overlooks Guimarães. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning and cable TV. Historical. Epic gardens. Incredible staff. Great art. Beautifully maintained. Wonderful restaurant.

The spot is very closer to the center of Braga, the apartment is super cleaner and it overcame my expectations. It was my first time in Portugal and there is no better place that I’d recommend besides this apartment. The hosting was super kind and left some food as a welcome way. Super nice!! Looking forward to be back in another opportunity =)

Located within Guimarães city wall, in a manor house from the 18th century, Casa do Juncal combines history with modern comfort and elegance. The hotel is located in Guimarães historical city centre. It is in a pedestrian area but you can come close by car to leave your luggage. It is right in the middle of the centre close to all attractions, monuments, bars and restaurants. There is a very convenient automatic check-in procedure which allows you to arrive at any time.

I had no idea what I was booking when I had to find a hotel for one night lastminute while in Viana do Castelo. Had I known what a gem this place was, I would have stayed here for the full time that I was in town. It was beautiful, historic, and run by a team that you can tell really, really cares about hospitality. Everyone I met was lovely. The room was comfortable, quiet, clean and spacious, the breakfast was perfect, and the gardens were a lovely treat. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer to soak in the spirit of this place. If I have the luck of passing by Viana do Castelo again, this is where I will stay.

We were traveling on the Camino and stayed here for the night! The owners were so welcoming, kind, and generous! Our clothes were wet from the rain and they washed, dried, and folded our clothes! Beautiful guest house!

Trovador Guest House is located in the historic center of Guimarães and offers comfortable suites just 1 km from the iconic Guimarães Castle. Wi-Fi is free in all areas. Very nice building, old outside and new inside! The room was clean and had everything necessary, the bad was very comfortable, the breakfast, served on the ground floor by a very gentle lady, was aboundant and with all options. We really recommend the structure, and thank the kindest receptionist you can find!!
