Wonderful apartment and really convenient location, within walking distance of everything and if very tired the taxis are very economic. The apartment itself is incredibly thought out, from the easy self check in to the very last detail. There is everything you could possibly need, comfortable bed, lovely shower and all very clean (with a daily cleaning service). There is a supermarket just below. The apartment is extremely quiet, you cannot hear outside noise; consider that all buildings are made of wood therefore some noise from guests above might be heard, but if you are an extremely light sleeper you can use ear plugs. Overall 5 stars.

It was really well equiped (full kitchen + washing machine). There was a terrace in the communal inner courtyard. The location is right in the city center yet amazingly very quiet, even the Sao Joao party was not bothering us. The garage is right below the apartment, a real luxury in a city like Porto.

The Argentinian guy at the reception was exceptional – so helpful and kind. Rooms were BIG, bathrooms were CLEAN and designed perfectly. Lovely balconies. GREAT kitchen. AMAZING breakfast. Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at 💌

The PortoBay Hotel Teatro is a 4-star hotel in Porto belonging to the PortoBay Group. The hotel was right in the centre of Porto, very close to all the attractions. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was abundant. One evening we had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and I mentioned it to Pedro when we checked in. We were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine and some sweet treats in our room when we came back from lunch. This is only one example of how the hotel stuff went above and beyond to make our stay unique.
