We arrived by train to Pinhão station and took a taxi to the hotel. It’s 15 minutes drive with awesome views and it costs around 12€. You should definitely take the dinner prepared by the owner himself, it worths a gourmet restaurant’s menu with wine pairing. Even if it is not said, actually it includes the experience of tasting different kinds of wine from their own vineyard. As we informed Senhor Miguel earlier, the dinner menu was adapted to my parents’ alimentary restrictions. The hotel itself is in a renovated mansion like historical building, so full of charm. We will definitely come back and we will definitely order their great red wine that we can’t forget!

Breakfast was yummy including orange marmalade and jams made on the property. We were lucky enough to meet the family that runs the property which are lovely people.

This hotel is great. Spacious rooms and fantastic outdoor area, with beautiful gardens and pool. The staff is very attentive.

V **Quinta de Fiães** je okouzlující farma v srdci údolí Douro, jen 1 km od vesnice Vilar de Maçada. We really enjoyed our stay here! Beautiful house and pool with amazing views and really nice food and staff - Bruno is the best. We were also very impressed by the beauty of the Duoro area and its wines. We will be back.

Warm and welcoming staff. Manuel, the owner, went out of his way to to accommodate any of our needs. Very relaxing intimate setting. Highly recommended stay.

Hotel Muchacho je designový hotel se světlým fialovým exteriérem a pokoji s balkonem a vlastní koupelnou. Nachází se v centru města Macedo de Cavaleiros a nabízí bezplatné parkování. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We had requested a room with two beds but changed to one bed and the room was large, very comfortable and with a balcony. Breakfast was ample with many delicious homemade products. The friendliness and helpfulness of everyone at this family run establishment cannot be overstated. We hope to return.
