Gasthaus Alte Post se nachází v historickém centru Sighişoary, pouhých 300 metrů od hodinové věže, a nabízí restauraci, která podává místní transylvánskou kuchyni. Location is excellent, right next to the Citadel and main tourist area. Plenty of restaurants and attractions within walking distance. The property is charming, like an old inn with wooden floors. Room was very comfortable with down comforters and pillows. There was even a ductless Toshiba heater/air conditioning, which is very surprising in Europe. Mai heating done through radiators which was adequate. Bathroom showers has full closing glass doors which was nice. No slippery tiles. Small refrigerator in room. The included breakfast was more than adequate. Don’t miss fresh cider and local jam. I had dinner in the restaurant and the Spaghetti Carbonara was very good, with smoked Guanicale or pork cheek. The staff was polite but not very helpful in talking about local attractions. I think their awkwardness at their language skills must have embarrassed them. They were as helpful as expected. I was in shoulder season so it was quite empty. I like it that way. I suspect that the restaurants in the square get noisy at night.

Hotel Tempo byl nově otevřen v roce 2014 a nachází se 200 metrů od řeky Mures a 1,5 km od centra města Targu Mures. Spacious, bright, clean room. Big safe parking and restaurant has a great terrace. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is also great.

A very very beautiful hotel with a great atmosphere and the perfect location. The host, Daniella was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and with a huge variety for a small hotel 🤗

The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the medieval citadel, with easy access to all the main attractions. The historic charm of the property is beautifully preserved, and the rooms are both elegant and comfortable, offering a perfect blend of tradition and modern amenities. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The à la carte breakfast was delicious, and dining at their restaurant was a treat – the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. While the parking is located outside the citadel, the short walk is worth it for the unique atmosphere and authenticity of the setting. Overall, Casa Georgius Krauss offers a truly special experience for anyone visiting Sighișoara. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

Pensiunea Cristina si Pavel se nachází v destinaci Sighişoara. Opevněný kostel v Saschizu je 22 km daleko a Opevněný kostel v Biertanu 30 km. This property is in the center of old town. It is very clean and great value. Cristina was very nice. She even allowed me to park my car in their spot for the night. I also got to try the pears in the garden.

Very nice hotel in a renovated villa. Staff is very helpful and kind. Hassle-free parking (pre-registered license plate). Breakfast is exceptional, with local food selections. Spacious and spotless room with amazing balcony and view. Location also very good: close to the lake and to the center. We also tried the dinner (ala carte) and that was also great, good selection of wine and food.
