The restaurant is right by the river edge and it is very relaxing even just to sit there especially at sunset.

The guesthouse has very nice and original decor decor and furnishings and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. It is also within walking distance of both the bus and minivan station and the train station (although the latter is half an hour's walk away). The owner - a local woman - is very helpful and forthcoming, and she's also one of few communicative Thais with a genuine interest in foreigners that I came across on my two trips to Thailand: once I even asked her to call a bike rental shop to let them know that I would return the bicycle I was renting from them later than agreed, as unfortunately I cannot speak Thai, and she kindly obliged. Not to mention that her husband was twice kind enough to give me and other guests a ride to the minivan and bus station so that I did not have to pay for a tuk tuk.

Floating atop the scenic River Kwai, this unique Thai folk-style resort is surrounded by tropical forests and mountains of Saiyoke. The whole ambiance of the hotel is very peaceful and the interior design with a lot of wood blending into the surroundings. Hotel restaurant’s price is very reasonable, I brought the package with breakfast only and took dinner at the restaurant. I tried the foot and legs massage and The massage lady is just wonderful and the price is cheaper than the general hotel standard in Bangkok. It’s a great experience!

Located on the north bank of the Kwai Yai River, this contemporary lodge-style resort features an outdoor pool and free WiFi. Set amidst landscaped gardens. Snídaně byly okouzlující. Měli tam snad vše, na co si vzpomenete, pokoj prostorný, pohodlná postel,v ledničce 4 nápoje zdarma, vchod přímo ze zahrady. Pohled na řeku byl naprosto fascinující.

River Kwai Resotel is a villa-style resort nestled on the banks of the Kwai Noi River in Kanchanaburi. It features air-conditioned rooms with an outdoor pool and a restaurant. Stunningly beautiful. March larger than expected. A place you truly can relax. I have stayed at a few similar places and this was my favorite.

The location on the hillside overlooking the beautiful lake is stunning, the boat ride in the late afternoon towards the sundown was also a highlight. Reception and employees all very friendly. (with one exception, see dinner)
