Best I have stayed in anywhere in a long time. Next to a cute coffee shop (Mug Cafe) and walking distance to a lot of restaurants and stores. 7-11 around the corner for essentials.

Villa Munkalla je krásný, asi sto let starý dům postavený v koloniálním stylu, v němž kdysi žila bangkokská aristokracie, která jako jediná mohla v této centrální části města bydlet. Celý dům má silně britský vliv a po 14 dnech strávených v ubytováních se záchodem spojeným se sprchou byl návrat ke koupelně s vanou opravdu vítaný. Všechno je dřevěné, dokonale čisté a připravené tak, abyste se tam cítili dobře. Klimatizace funguje výborně. Vrcholem je chutná aristokratská snídaně se starým porcelánovým nádobím ve velké přízemní místnosti, kterou si můžete vychutnat u otevřeného okna do ulice. Personál je velmi ochotný, dobře rozumí anglicky a poskytuje nadstandardní servis. Po návratu z horké procházky recepční všeho nechala a hned mi nabídla studený čaj. Dokonce mi bylo umožněno se i po checkoutu vysprchovat v jiném, volném pokoji. Lokalita je skvělá, krátkou procházku od Khao San Road, přes níž se dá snadno dojít k nejbližšímu molu u řeky. Vynikající volba.

Tints of Blue Hotel je situován v rušné, ale příjemné čtvrti Sukhumvit v Bangkoku, pouhých 700 metrů od stanice MRT Sukhumvit a stanice Skytrain BTS Asoke. Everything as excellent. That roof top pool is very good

Best location that’s not noisy but very close to Khaosan road and good restaurants. Staffs are kind and helpful. With such a great price there is nothing to complain

Great Rooms, comfortable spaces, superb decoration, excellent breakfast and wonderful pool. Close to the action but far enough to be very quiet. An occasional monkey family passing by. One of the best places we were in Thailand. Try to get a room with direct access to the pool, you ll remember this comment when you re there.
