Home from home!!! This was like stepping into some long lost family’s garden and home… super special and extremely relaxing. The host, his house, garden, pool and obviously stunning dogs were amazing.

My husband and I stayed here on our first visit to Turkey 30 yrs ago when were just married and semi-backing our way through the country. While we were a bit worried that we would be disappointed, we were happy to find the hotel to be much the same. Although there have been some upgrades and building additions, the Su hotel was almost as we remembered it to be. It's a quiet and relaxing oasis in bustling tourist town. The owners and staff were very warm and accommodating. On this visit, we brought along our college age daughter and my sister -- our first stop on a 3-1/2 week trip along the turquoise coast of Turkey. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights before a 7-day sailing trip aboard a traditional Turkish Gulet. The rooms are simply furnished, but immaculate. Each room also has a private balcony or terrace area where we would often enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. There is a lovely large pool in the central courtyard surrounded by colorful flowers, tables and sun loungers. Perfect after a hot day of sightseeing. A basic turkish breakfast buffet is served every morning and the kitchen can also provide lunch and dinner upon request. There's also a bar that will stay open as long as there are guests to serve! The grounds are very clean and well-maintained. The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk to the restaurants, boutiques, and nightlife along the harbor. It's about a 10 minute walk to the ancient theater. After 30 yrs., the Su Hotel did not disappoint.

We absolutely fell in love with Ha La Bodrum. We always prefer to stay in authentic, unique places, and Ha La Bodrum exceeded our expectations. It's a beautiful stone house with five bedrooms, originally owned by the family's grandparents. The grounds are beautiful too, with gorgeous seating areas, lots of friendly cats and kittens, and lovely bougainvillea. The family went out of their way to help us--from setting up dinner reservations, to leaving a lovely bottle of wine in our room to celebrate our anniversary, to helping our tour guide find the property. The breakfast was fantastic, and they also served us afternoon iced coffees. We had the big suite, which is so cool. The stairs may be a problem for some, but they weren't an issue for us. We loved every bit about our stay and would love to visit again someday. The WiFi and AC worked flawlessly, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was fantastic! Thank you so much!
