We stayed 3 nights at the Madison Hotel Hamburg in June 2024. The room was large and very comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, cooked to order omelet and along with the delights on the buffet. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our reception and check out were also just right. Besides the supreme comfort of the hotel, the location was excellent. We could walk to almost anything we wanted to visit but there were also very nearby bus and train stops to take us wherever we wanted.

Located in a former school building, the family-run Hotel Volkschule offers comfortable rooms in central Hamburg. Free WiFi internet access is available throughout the hotel.

A brilliant idea to convert an old school building into a modern hotel. Good for the environment. Furthermore we like the interior design, which both reflects the old school and the modern hotel. Breakfast is excellent. Free parking in the old school yard. A short walk from an U-bahn station taking you direct into Stadtmitte.

Overlooking the Außenalster Lake, this classic hotel offers free Wi-Fi, a private cinema, restaurants and a bar. Hamburg Central Station is 500 metres away.

Room, breakfast, facilities all excellent. The bar is a "must have" were it only for the spectacular views of the Alster and the city. We treated ourselves also to a dinner in the Lakeside restaurant. Great menu, very creative and delicious dishes, and the wine pairing offered was for the most part super.
