staff were super friendly and amazingly kind!!!

It was nice to be positively surprised for once. The room turned out to be cleaner than expected (very clean), and better equipped than expected. It also turned out to be larger than expected, certainly way larger than the broom closets (read: «Rooms») of the other London hotels we stayed in so far. The room comes with a wardrobe, there is a section which holds the coffeemaker and fridge and there is even a small balcony. A word of caution before your mind goes all whoolgathering, though, as the balcony faces the backyard, which kind of nippes all romantic thoughs in the proverbial bud. Not facing the street also means a quieter room, however, and quiet it was. We asked for a quiet room when we made our reservation and a quiet room is what we got. There was no breakfast included in our rate, but this being the Strand and Covent-Garden there are numerous restaurants in the neighborhood. To be honest, if you threw a stone it would be difficult not to hit one, if not even two. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and are always on hand whenever you need them. To be honest, it was quite nice to be perceived as a person rather than just a room-number for once. This is not a very large hotel, which also means there are no lines in front of the elevators, nor are they filled to capacity, which is something we also appreciated. If you are heading for breakfast the smell of undigested Doner-Kebap is not always conductive to a healthy appetite. At this point I would like to thank the staff for making our stay the success it was and special thanks to Mandeep and Tommy for their valuable tips, which were not only helpful but also saved us money in the end. Are there better hotels in London? Certainly, but for this price and location what «The Resident» has to offer is hard to beat. We will definitely be back.

Everything. First of all, the staff is professional, willing to help and caring. in any time and for any ask - they were always there for us! We started every morning with a delicious breakfast (chosen from menu - which is great) The location is absolutely best, in Convent Garden close to everything - restaurants, shops, central spots and more. We'd like to THANK YOU for one of the best stays we had!

Wow! Location Location Location! Perfect spot smack in the middle of the city! 1 min walk to the tube. Very clean and the hosts were lile meeting family. Filip and family were so nice , i wish i stayed a couple extra days and I could have taken a beer with him and his wife! Next time 😀

From check in to check out, every moment of our stay was wonderful. The staff were amazing, they really went above and beyond to give a fantastic service and they were especially nice to my little dog, with custom baked treats for her at the room and even a treat for her at the bar! Will definitely be coming back!

We were in London for the marathon, and decided on Covent Garden for logistics. Apartment was excellent, great location, with a wide choice of eateries in walking distance, along with shops. Short walk to Charing Cross Station, for train direct to Greenwich, made start logistics easy. Walking (hobbling) distance from finish line, again eased the day. Apartment had everything needed, very well furnished, comfortable beds, towels and toiletries. We will be back.

As a family of five, perfect base in Covent Garden. Minutes walk from the opera house and also musical Matilda. Everything was spotless. Great communication from host as well as an excellent stay guide. Showers were excellent with great water pressure etc. Super TV. Grateful too that they made up the sofa bed for me. Really recommended place to stay.
