The location was irrelevant because I was only there for a good night’s sleep between flights. I definitely got that. Breakfast was so-so but there was in-room coffee, which was good.

This is a nice boutique hotel away from the touristy beachy end of Maputo. It's close to the Botanical gardens and monument. There are restaurants nearby too and a roof bar with drinks and snacks. The manager was a wealth of information.

We had an amazing stay at Seaside retreat. Sheldone was an absolutely best- friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable and the location couldn't have been more perfect. When I exchanged SouthAfrica Rand at airport, I gave her R3000 but I only got R2000. I told this event to Hotel manager, he was very helpful for me. Finally he went to the exchange company to get R1000 back. He is a very reliable man. The security is better than the city center. Many restaurant and supermarket is close to the hotel.

The staff at the hotel are so kind and attentive, truly a wonderful experience! I had to change my travel dates multiple times and the staff was incredibly accommodating, as well as helping with taxis and luggage storage. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms were very spacious and clean. I would stay at Hotel Cardoso again in a heartbeat!
