The hotel is located within walking distance from some very important historical landmarks (the Lisbon Cathedral, Saint George's Castle, the National Pantheon, the Rua Augusta Arch, etc.) and quite close to the main Rossio square. You have quite a lot of restaurants nearby, although transportation around Alfama (other than a couple of trams, including the historical 28E, and a bus to the castle) is relatively scarce. However, it wasn't an issue to get around on foot. While the hotel is in a very touristic area, the rooms are very well soundproof and you won't be bothered by the noise on the busy streets around. I'd say the rooms are about the right size (not too big, not too small), really comfortable, squeaky clean and the breakfast at the hotel was very good (quite a lot of options). The welcome gift (custard tarts, Ginja liqueur and a hand painted tile) were a lovely detail. To top it all off, the personnel was incredibly kind and helpful. Every single one of them. I think it is the best hotel I've have stayed in so far! If you are planning to go to Lisbon, you can't go wrong with them.

I like everything, starting from comfort and Pedro the Concierge, and ending complementaries. Pedro also very flexible and helpful. I would also recommend to people, who is crying about stairs... Probably avoid travels in Lisbon at all. Can't imagine how you doing walks in such a city, but complaining about stairs.

Location as the property sits right next to Fado museum. Cleanliness. Kitchen facilities are amazing as we cooked our simple breakfast every morning. There’s also coffee/tea available in the kitchen which we appreciated so much. Heating facilites are amazing as we tour during the winter season. Walking distance to almost everything. Modes of transportation are also amazing as there are bus stops near the property.

Easy to locate in Alfama. Check-in was a breeze with instructions from Ana on WhatsApp. Her guides to Lisbon were very useful. Casa all to ourselves, would definitely stay again.

This is a very unique and charming apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. It was very quiet, but close to everything. The bed was comfortable and we liked the view from the windows and the sun. It had everything one needed. We even used the washing machine as we were on a long trip. The fridge is huge. The advice we got from the hosts about restaurants and sights were very helpful, much better advice than you find in a guidebook. Diogo met us at the Uber drop off and helped us with our heavy luggage. Our hosts were very responsive.
