Friendly staff, facilities including the pool and gym, and the location was even better. Clean and tidy, I’d say it looked much better than what I had assumed based on the photos.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the room though small was perfect for a holiday stay. The sofa bed for a third person was convenient. The room was cleaned well by the staff, and the in-house coin-operated laundry on the second floor was very convenient. Having a restaurant and convenience store on the ground floor was useful. The hotel has a small swimming pool and gym which is a nice option. Zhongshang mall which was a short walk away had good meal options and a good supermarket.

A 10-minute drive from Orchard Road, Value Hotel offers value-for-money accommodation along Balestier Road. It features air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen Internet TV and free Wi-Fi.

Do not check in immediately after eating Durian. Taking Durian into the room is not allowed. The counter staff will ask you questions seriously if you are carrying Durian into the hotel.

Modest, comfortable, very well maintained accommodation. The nicest staff, very responsive and welcoming. Everything is close by, stores, restaurants, bus, everything that is needed. This is my go to place while visiting Singapore.

Fragrance Hotel-Oasis is conveniently located in the Balestier District, a 25-minute drive from Changi International Airport. Surrounded by many known eateries, it offers affordable rooms.

Polite staffs. Specially Ms Jessica and Ms Jenny are so helpful. The location is very convenient just beside bus stop. Rooms are clean and very well organized.
