Comfy beds, sweet, friendly hosts/workers who were very accommodating, the huts are very cool looking (hammocks). It’s amazing they’re really in the jungle but still nearby where you wanna be. A good price for what you get. Washrooms are nice and clean. Everyone hangs out in the main shared area (restaurant area) and plays guitar and plays cards in the evening (but not too late, quiet hours are respected). During the rainy season, you can swim in the pools of the waterfall that is literally one second away from the lodge.

We had a great time at the Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges. Tia is an amazing host and we felt right at home from the beginning. She was very helpful with organizing transfers and a jungle expedition. Orangutan Villa & Ethical Jungle Treks se nachází v destinaci Timbanglawang 1 a má restauraci, pokojovou službu, bar, zahradu, terasu a výhled do zahrady. I very much enjoyed my stay here. I spent 2 nights before my jungle trek and 1 night after. I booked the 2 day/1 night jungle trek with them as well. I actually think that is the only way you can stay at their guesthouse, so they ensure that their trekking clients have accommodation. Communication with the manager, Dedycool was faultless, from the time i made my initial inquiry to when the driver picked me up at the airport. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've had in 5 months of travel, and the AC did the job. The staff could not have been more welcoming, both upon arrival and every time I came for a meal or returned from an outing. The location outside of the village ensured a peaceful nights sleep. I enjoyed the 30 minute walk to the center, allowing me to see people going about their daily lives. The jungle trek was phenomenal in every way. Both guides, Edwin and Janet, were professional and got excited when we saw orangutans (we saw 7). The food both at the guesthouse and on the trek was very tasty. The trekking was challenging but not overly so. It was fun scrambling up hillsides using vines and roots as foot and hand holds. The camping was much more comfortable than I expected. The camping mats were thick, and the lightweight sleeping bag was just right for the temperature. The rafting back to the village was super fun and a great way to end the 2 days in the jungle. I'm very pleased with my decision to book through Sumatra Orangutans Treks.

Bylo to nejlepší ubytování, jaké jsme měli na naší cestě po Malajsii a Indonésii. Tyson a jeho rodina byli skvělí. Tysonova teta nám vařila úžasná domácí jídla. A naši průvodci v džungli Bob a Usain byli výborní. Děkujeme Tysone za skvělý pobyt. Ondra a Boogeyman Stephany.

Great staff and awesome vibe, gardens are beautiful and the rooms/bungalows are simple but very well decorated and they have everything to have a comfortable stay. They look exactly like the pictures. Very well located to start the hike to see the orangutans. Restaurant was very good, and it was nice to have dinner and join the staff who was playing guitar and singing. Breakfast was awesome, I loved the porridge (baked, steel cut) with local fruits. You really get a lot for what you pay. I hope to go back!

We stayed at Garden Inn for four nights, and they were unforgettable. The room was beautiful, designed in a natural style—a combination of stone and wood, which is exactly what it should be since we were in the jungle. It had a very lovely and cozy atmosphere, complete with a terrace. Everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There was no hot water in the bathroom, but we came to the jungle—why would there be? Every evening, we had visitors—macaque monkeys who entertained us. On two nights, they used our terrace as their bedroom. They weren’t aggressive; on the contrary, our terrace became their playground, especially for the teenage monkeys. It was an amazing experience. We highly recommend it—if you want to be close to nature, Garden Inn is the perfect choice. The guys at the reception are absolute gems. They were always there to help and answer any questions or concerns. Big kudos to them—nothing could surprise or confuse them.

Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys se nachází v destinaci Bukit Lawang a poskytuje zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu a bar. The place is a little bit outside the town and for me this is a good thing because it is very quiet and peaceful (they have a restaurant and provide water and free refill).
