The brasserie downstairs is excellent, and the staff throughout are warm, attentive, and clearly take pride in what they do. Lovely breakfast too. Great value for this level of comfort and charm.

Built in 1543, this hotel in the centre of Zug accommodated famous guests like Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, yet it offers modern amenities like free internet and air-conditioning. The welcome you get in City Hotel Ochsen is what would make you come back ! The little things they do great - requesting a little jug of milk when you arrive late is no problem will deliver to your room , to showing you the map of Zug. Both the man and lady on reception are brilliant and should be commended , same with the owner whom I met one of the nights . Better than any of the more expensive hotels in Zug which I’ve stayed at ! I will be back ! Rooms are well laid out , clean and cosy with beautiful modern bathroom - a pleasure .

Park Hotel Zug je obklopen působivým panoramatem plošiny Zugerberg a švýcarskými Alpami. Nachází se pouhé 2 minuty pěšky od vlakového nádraží Zug. It is clean, they have restaurant, rooms are very comfortable. There is always a person in the front desk and they are very friendly. Food is fresh. We had a room with a terraza looking at the park.

The SeminarHotel am Ägerisee enjoys a picturesque location on the shores of Lake Ägeri, 8 km from Zug. The free spa area includes a sauna, steam bath, and fitness area. The location was very good . Good breakfast. All the facilities in the room were good .

The City Garden Hotel is situated next to a green park, within walking distance from the commercial districts and only 3 minutes from the city centre of Zug. I liked the location, I loved how comfortable the room was and the amenities. The staff were very helpful. Nice little town, the station was closeby, which I wish I had known before traveling.
