The place is very special. Private place...located in natural wonderland of green, trees, flowers and private trail to Drake river. Can go for swim in your own river. The owner helped us and took care of us 24/7. The couple taking care of place on site were sweet and took care of our needs including breakfast at 5 am since we had tour of park at 6 am, laundry and more. Great breakfast, generous menu with many options!

The staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to help arrange the things I wanted to do. The food was really good and was a decent price. The location was great in terms of hiking trails and places to expmore for sefl-catering travellers. The wifi was pretty fast considering the location. The views and nature around the camp were exceptional. Thanks for a great stay!

The location right by the beach with a wonderful Veranda lends for hours of sunset gazing and bird watching . The staff are all super friendly and helpful and it’s one of the cleanest hostels I‘ve seen in all of Costa Rica. The bathroom is painted in jungle scenes and made me happy every time I entered . The breakfast is so big and varied that imI almost couldn’t eat it all. They can organise tours for you and you get a discount if you stay at the hostel . There are supermarkets nearby and I cooked my own dinner in the kitchen. It was an absolute delight to stay at Pirate Drake bay hostel.

Amazing location to get away, private beach, and close to Carcavado NP. Meals were very good, and the staff guides, and bartender were friendly and knowledgeable. Hope to visit again.

With garden views, Sabalo Lodge Tours and Cabins is located in Sierpe and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace.

Very nice place in the wilderness where you can spot many animals. The mangrove tour is a must, we saw all types of monkeys and many crocodiles, our kids were amazed. Angelica is a very nice person and we felt at home.

Offering a restaurant, Las Caletas Lodge is located in Drake Bay. Free Wi-Fi access is available in public areas of this lodge. The rooms and bungalows will provide you with a balcony and a fan.

We did the Glamping room option. The bathroom was a bit of a walk so I would pay more for a room with a bathroom. Also no hot water or A/C.
