Style of the room, free food/snacks/drinks downstairs, skin care treatment products in the room, roof for relax and sunbathing and backyard to chill, very cozy design of the whole hotel

Loved our room, most hostel rooms in Japan are very basic with just 3 futons on the floor. This room had proper beds and a desk and an artificial lemon tree and lots of little details which made it feel like a home away from home. The shared bathroom facilities were very clean and the communal area was a lovely place to sit of an evening and you could help yourself to free tea. They also allowed us to take other little toiletries for free which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and if you arrive early you can leave your luggage in front of the desk. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the temple and if you come out and turn left there is a covered road of shops and restaurants just ahead of you, very convenient as we ate there several times and even got plug adapters in a shop there.

I think it was very spacious considering the price and location. There are schools around this place so I felt very safe and secure
