The sunset boat ride looking for beavers among the marshes and islands was definitely a highlight, as was the Québecois music evening around the grill teepee. The taste is eclectic and well sorted, which makes the Hébergement beautiful. Definitely worth staying more than one night to profit from all that the place offers. Please keep in mind that Québec is rather French-speaking: some knowledge of the language will get you much further.

Went to Orford for the eclipse. The Pods were terrific, living up to the ratings by previous visitors. The proprietor was friendly and helped us with any requests we had. There's a nice trail to a Sugaring Shack (about a mile) that we walked; a bit muddy with snow this time of year, but worth going. All in all we had a great time!

We were expecting a traditional camping site, but we found this luxurious mobile home, not micro, its size is quite comfortable with everything you need to cook, and have a great experience. The surrounding areas are surreal, beautiful lake, amongst pine trees and mountains. Host always willing to help. We look forward to coming back soon

So nice that the owners provide a chance to borrow their kayak or canoe, and explain where to go on the lake and river! It's clear that a lot of hard work was put into making the cabin nice and feel like a home-away-from-home. We felt like the owners were available for any questions we had.
