The experience in this place has been incredible! The place is very authentic, everything is made by Michel and the whole place reflects his passion for this wonderful territory. It is not a hotel or a resort, so you need to be prepared to share facilities and spaces... and that's one of the things that people will appreciate here. The shared spaces are in the open, and they have all the necessary for cooking and storing your food. The bathroom is a beautiful little cabin made in wood, but it has hot water and a shower. The place is super clean and Michel keeps everything stocked and replaced. Food is cooked on the fire in the Tipi where you sit around the fire with other guests, but you have access to a electric cattle, camping stove, pans and plates and glasses. Our room was the Cabane: it is a few minutes walk into the woods from the "camp" and it has no electricity, but they provide a torch.. One of the best night sleep i had, no lights or noise except the wood and rain (and an occasional car on the closeby road)! The room is alsp equipped to cook and clean for longer stays. Extra points for the amzaing boat trip to see beavers offered by Michel on his boat: incredible experience!!

Everything is was so amazing! The pod, the jacuzzi, the host, the bed. It was such a comfortable and relaxing stay. We stayed only one night on our way to Quebec City, but we will definitely be returning again for a longer stay next time.

We were expecting a traditional camping site, but we found this luxurious mobile home, not micro, its size is quite comfortable with everything you need to cook, and have a great experience. The surrounding areas are surreal, beautiful lake, amongst pine trees and mountains. Host always willing to help. We look forward to coming back soon

The property is lovely. Has everything you need. Great location near the lake, literally maybe 50 meters from the shore.

Situated in Rouyn-Noranda, Les Racines du p'tit Isidore has a terrace. Guests staying at this tented camp have access to a balcony. Great location, in the forest, feels very private. Nice fireplace (inside and outside). So nice that the owners provide a chance to borrow their kayak or canoe, and explain where to go on the lake and river! It's clear that a lot of hard work was put into making the cabin nice and feel like a home-away-from-home. We felt like the owners were available for any questions we had.
