The moment we arrived to Samara, Denis reached out and explained how to get there. Waze works best in Costa Rica. Also if you rent the car, make sure to rent a higher one because some roads are pretty bumpy and you would need to push it. But it’s normal there. Once we arrived, they met us by the entry with warm hello, showed us our place, greeted and let us be. Breakfast was delicious and very thoughtful, based on our needs. Denis was so helpful. He answered all our questions, always within minutes replies to my messages. He also recommended bunch of places. Our lodge was clean and replenished daily. The view is great, private. I loved staying at Cocolhu. Waking up to the sound of birds and howler monkeys was an amazing experience. The views from the deck and viewing terrace were incredible! The Wi-Fi was solid and the property was just far enough from town that you felt removed from the hustle and bustle but close enough to access all the amenities if you wanted to. Javi and Kelly were amazing hosts and you can tell that they want to make sure you have the best experience while visiting.
