There is a real nice backpacking / chill vibe. They combine nice, clean private rooms, with a nice common area with lots of comfortable options to hang out. The owners are super chill and one of the highlights of this place. This place attracts a lot of chill people, and it is super easy to connect, and for me that made my stay in Thekkady exceptional. For me this was exactly what I was looking for

If you are looking for a mix of adventure and nature, without compromising on comfort, our luxury Air conditioned Deluxe Tents are the perfect choice. You can't get closer to the jungle than this. The location of Jungle Hut was really special - quiet, near to nature and with fantastic views. Staff were all great and keen to help us enjoy our stay to the full. There were lots of activities on offer, from bird-watching to a trip into the Tiger Reserve. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. We stayed in one of the luxury tents, which really made us feel like we were on safari! There was a lovely sense of privacy, as the huts and tents were well spread out around the resort. Food was wonderful, lots of variety and high quality - we ate well every day and for every meal. The whole atmosphere felt adventurous, yet safe. We felt we were staying within a local context, as opposed to a faceless international resort.

Everything was great ! We had a great crew that looked after us on our cruise and in the evening. The food was really tasty and they adjusted it the amount of of chilli strength to suit our requirements, w went off in a small boat to the local village and visited a church and a local carpenter plus some shops .
