We loved staying at the camp, really enjoyed the fact that we had all our meals at one big table with the other guests, so easy to meet new people that share the same passion for kite surfing. Also hard to beat the staffs friendliness and costumer service, absolutely 5star outstanding. Main Kitesurfing spot (Lagoon) is as well great, though always gusty winds (+10kn gusts to base wind). Perfect for beginners. If you're a better kiter though, you'll definitely want to go on the kite trips. The trip spots are much nicer, but can add up in quite an additional budget (25-45EUR/trip).

From the very beginning the communication with the host was seamless, they made sure we find the location and picked us up with a jeep where the road started to be too rough for a normal car. The whole experience was amazing, my spider enthusiast son found a soulmate in Ranil, a conservation biologist who runs the place while engaged in fascinating research projects. The food was always freshly made and delicious, the tent was comfortable with beautiful surroundings. As a special treat, Ranil's dad joined us on our safari and shared his wealth of knowledge about the anilmals in Wilpattu National Park, including the leopard couple we spotted on a tree. Thank you for the amazing experience, we felt like we were part of the family.

The fireplace is the standout feature of this tent. The tent features a washing machine, a private entrance, as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower and a bath. Amazing little place in the middle of the countryside next to a lagoon that you can swim in! (No crocs). Very friendly and helpful owner and staff who will try to help you in every way You can see so many birds and animals from the place itself You can do a local bird walk or a half or full day safari in Wilpattu National Park The dinner is home cooked Sri Lankan style, very fresh and tasty and plenty of it! Loved every minute of my stay

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. The staff at Big Game was absolutely wonderful. Everybody was very kind and helpful. The camp gives you a real safari experience. The facilities were very nice for a tent camping. We also really enjoyed the daily activities that were scheduled, the romantic apero aside the campfire and the tasty dinner by candle light. We planned our safari with them and got a wonderful guide who taught us everything about the Wilpattu national park and its inhabitants. Would definitely recommend

Nastanitev Glamping Wilpattu by Thamaravila se nahaja v mestu Wilpattu in ponuja bazen, vrt, bar, razgled na vrt ter brezplačen WiFi. Nastanitev ponuja vročo kopel in masažno kad. Could not recommend Thamaravila more! Everything was fantastic from the welcome to the safari and everything in between. The service was fantastic and all staff were extremely friendly. The traditional Sri Lankan food was delicious. Our safari experience was also amazing, seeing elephants, sloth bears and leopards all in one day! Thanks to Priya who was our very knowledgeable guide on the day. The rooms were very spacious and the location is so quiet and peaceful.
