2 Separate Rooms (1 Queen size bed, 1 Twin bed), Air-conditioned & fan, Separate indoor bathroom (hot shower) & toilet, Forest swing, Private infinity pool, Outdoor shower, Outdoor kitchen. Place was fantastic, with a very good view and right next to Sepilok Orangutan Centre. I visited all the attractions there just by walking from the hotel and that was really convenient. Staff was kind and breakfast was really good, lots of different options.

The Mt Kinabalu view from our room was amazing! The staff was amazing, I lost my phone but got it back! Couldn't thank enough to the lady who found and kept my phone! The road going inside to the homestay is quite narrow and rocky. But you can park inside close to the homestay. The location of the homestay is quite close to the town (around 15-20mins), easy to commute in and out. The toilet is outside your room, not a sharing toilet. However, quite scary to go out in the middle of the night 😅

I love the property, however the management needs to be improved. She yelled at me on the phone when i asked for our deposit money back for the bbq stand. Apart from that, i have no issue with the place itself. It was cozy and perfecy for a weekend retreat!

Meals were well prepared, cooked by staffs just before meal time. We saw lots of different fishes when snorkeling, and even saw a hornbill on the tree-top outside our tent. My son was very excited and happy about our stay in Ara Dinawan. If you plan to visit this island, recommend to stay at this resort instead of coming by one-day tour. You can enjoy the quite island and the private atmosphere from the late afternoon to the early morning.
