Communication was fast and easy, especially via text. Hot water stopped working but a quick text to the host, sent someone to fix it for us. I requested firewood ($20) for an outdoor fire to watch the stars at night. Unfortunately didn't have NZ cash with me but Jarene kindly accepted AUS cash. She gifted a few fresh eggs which we enjoyed. Thank you for a cosy stay. We had fantastic views of Mt Taranaki and the Milky Way.
