If you want to be at one with nature, this is the place for you. Not only because the friendly kitties Gingerbread and Peanut welcome you to your bubble, but also because you are surrounded by colourful birds, frogs and the -sadly now rare - fireflies. Not only this, but you are at one with bamboo and palm trees and get to sleep under the stars and moon. We had all types of weather and they were all romantic and enjoyable. I slept like a baby, falling asleep watching geckos and bats feasting or seeing satellites go past. The host Johan and all the staff are helpful and have thought of everything. There are hot and cold drinks and snacks which were welcome touches and they are very responsive and helpful with any queries. Best to travel with a backpack than a luggage and you have to feel comfortable driving and renting a scooter as it’s a little far out, but they can and will book the transfer to the airport for you and also make sure you have a moto upon arrival.

Everything is clean and decorated with love. I spent 7 days at Punta Punta and it was the most beautiful stay during my 5 week trip. Besides the incredibly delicious breakfast (bowl, buritto, fruits etc.) at a super fair price, the two owners made your stay unforgettable. In the evening you can make yourself comfortable with food (you can also order yourself) and end the day with a beer or cocktail. Upon arrival, a scooter is organized and even brought to the accommodation, if possible. it’s only a five minute ride to the city, so everything is super close. Also otherwise, they make an incredible effort to help you in all matters. If you want to make a tour, they organize everything and pick you up at your accommodation. If you want to make an excursion yourself, they give you lots of tips on what to do. For surfing Eze takes you to very nice spots where you can surf almost alone. If you need a surf guide, two friends of the two are available. Gina offers Pilatis courses, which are held on site. Should you want to end the day with a massage, this can also be taken in the accommodation. I came as a guest and it ended up feeling like family. Almost all guests want to extend their stay, so book an extra night right from the start, you won't regret it.

At the homestay, every unit comes with bed linen and towels. Everything was exceptional! The place is organized and clean, the tent is spacious and with so many details to make you feel welcomed and taken care! The owners and all the staff are lovely, and the food was also super good. It was seriously one of the best places we stayed.

First, I would like to say the staff, especially Malou, Gretchen, Ian, Drexel, and Loretto, were really great. They took good care of us there. We were a party of 16 people with 6 kids ages 15 and down. The staff is very, very accommodating and very nice. I am very grateful for that. Also the food is very delicious. Between the staff and the food, those are the resorts' best strength. Now, the reason for my 4 stars for the room is pretty much because the things that could have been done to just keep a better maintenance would add up to the experience. The water shower heater keeps dying, maybe because the place itself probably can't handle too many people at one time. The resort only has 10 rooms. We took about 5 on our stay. Maybe the owners or management can try and fix that, especially if they want to have more people going there. The rooms are also very small, really perfect for just 2 people, two tiny people to be comfortable. Also, the bathroom is too big and could have been cut down to give more room for the bedroom itself. Also, the main dining room can benefit from a few ceiling fans for the bugs and mosquitoes. But other than that, we had a wonderful stay at Bintana. Thank you to all the people there who took great care of us.
