I spent three days looking for a place to meet my criteria: very close to nature, beautiful beaches, isolated, quiet, no parties, no children, and good rating. And I found Dryft Darocotan. Even if I don't get to see any more of the Philippines, I would feel that I saw the best of it. The beaches are white and pink. Every sunset is different. At night you can just sit and look at the stars. During day time, you can swim, paddle board, snorkel near the ship wreck, see colorful fish or spend time at the restaurant. I loved all the healthy and delicious options on the menu - even though I'm not vegetarian, I was happy to see that they had one or two vegetarian / vegan options for every meal. I chose a Hive Hut, which was very spacious and clean. Also I was surprised that insects didn't bother us at all. There were just tons of butterflies and little hermit crabs who were busy doing their things. The best part of this experience were the people working at Dryft - as helpful and friendly as all the Filipinos I've met. Thank you so much for being so kind and welcoming, Dryft crew!

The staff were super warm and accommodating, always making me feel at home. Airport pick-up was a big plus and having a motorcycle ready made getting around so easy. Even with the glamping-style setup, the room had a good working AC and reliable internet, which made it extra comfortable. And the breakfast—wow, the servings were really generous. Definitely a great spot if you’re looking for comfort and genuine hospitality.

This tent features a private entrance, view and barbecue. SHALOM CAMP biedt uitzicht op de zee en een tuin. De accommodatie is aantrekkelijk gelegen in El Nido, op korte afstand van Bucana Beach. Dit verblijf was echt fantastisch! Met name door de familie en in het speciaal Kiko. Beste verblijf in El Nido!! Ga slapen met de geluiden van de golven, en word wakker op het strand. Je wilt niks meer. Kiko heeft echt een gouden hart en niks is voor hem te veel moeite. Ik ga ze missen! Lots of love! Ilse

Wat een prachtige villa's met uitzicht op de zee. Heel mooi ingericht en ruim. Personeel doet alles om t je naar de zin te maken. Transfer naar dorp en haven ed. Zelfs keuken om zelf te koken maar de prijzen in t restaurant zijn goed en het eten ook. Infinity pool heerlijk met zonsondergang. We zagen zelfs dat je drijvend ontbijtje kan regelen. We geven niet vaak een 10 maar Karuna is dat zeker waard!!

In de unit staat 1 bed. Villa Fria private beach cottage biedt een restaurant en accommodatie met gratis fietsen, een terras en een bar. Sagboyin Beach ligt op 2,1 km. I had a very pleasant time, very good service from the owner with the beach in front of the inn, excellent food and drinks.

This mobile home comprises 2 bedrooms, a seating area and 1 bathroom with a shower. Off Grid Explorers - 4x4 Campers! in El Nido biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de zee, een tuin en een privéstrand.... We absolutely loved everything about this! Such a clever idea and so much thought was put into it. We were given a location of a derelict beach 40min drive away and set up the truck there. Both of us were automatically insured to drive the van and were left to our own devices to explore El Nido. Shower, stove, fold out bed on top of the roof, camping chairs, cooking appliances/sauces/spices provided. One night was perfect to get away from the busy hotels and atmosphere of El nido. The host was brilliant and checked up on us making sure we were all sorted.. also let us drop the van at the ferry port to make it less stressful for the onward journey. Definitely a highlight of our holiday in the Philippines.

The view was amazing!! The free transfers into town were so helpful! And we loved being able to book tours to make life easier. Included breakfast was an added bonus and we loved being a little out of town away from the hustle and bustle. And the bed was SO comfy!

The tent has a wardrobe, a terrace and sea views. The unit has 1 bed. One of the best stays we’ve had in the country! The staff made this so special for us! We had an incredible island hopping tour that made it all worth it! Did I mention the food was incredible? Probably the best one we had in the country in a whole month

Everything about the stay was perfect. The staff were friendly and very obliging. The food was delicious. The location was perfect as it was just out of town, so it wasn't to busy. The hotel offers free transport to and from the town which works perfectly. My only issue was the air conditioning was very loud so at night it was quite noisy. But other than this, I cannot fault this resort.
