We always end our trips by asking each other "which place we stayed at you liked the best?" and this was that place. This is the place to stay if you want peace, quiet and beautiful views. Yes, you need a car to get there, and, yes, you also need a car to go out to dinner, but that wasn't a problem to us, quite the opposite, we were looking for that. Room was clean and as in photos, the view from our window was stunning. Breakfast was served fresh every morning and had some nice and personal touches like homemade jam. Last but no least, the hosts were so welcoming and polite, gave dinner recommendations and were open to give you any recommendation and help you need. On the morning of our check out there was no rush and we were welcome to check out when we wanted, and since after check out we went to the Paiva Walkways (p.s. very close to this property as also is Arouca 516), the host suggested that if necessary, we can come back after the walk and use the shower. We are glad we found this place, and hope to be back!

The air-conditioned mobile home features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower and a bidet. Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, a dishwasher and kitchenware in the well-fitted kitchen. Location was great, if you have a car. A few short miles from the Douro river and less than an hour from Porto. Host was superb. Very friendly and helpful. Made a fire for us.

Shared pool, private parking, completely equipped shared kitchen, laundry for the quests. Amazing breakfasts. Excellent communication from the beginning (thanks Teresa for everything).
