The room was spacious, clean and peaceful, the view was spectacular, you feel 100% freedom. Really enjoyed the everything including the perfect dinner and continental breakfast. The staff (Antoniette) and management were always helpful. We stayed only for a night but wished we could have stayed longer. We took some photos with zebras.

Guests will have a special experience as the tent offers a pool with a view. Fantastic staff. The main caretaker, Kaley, is great when it comes to customer service. She made sure our stay was comfortable and even went out of the way to pack picnic sandwiches for us when we wanted to venture out on our own. The safari guide, Floid, is very knowledgeable, and if you stay for 2-3 days, he'll make sure you see every type of animal you had on your wish list. These guys include 1 complimentary safari per night of your stay (so if you stay for 3 nights, 3 safaris are inclusive), and I feel it's the best package because a couple of self drives in Kruger are a must do in my opinion, just for the thrill of it. The tents are quite comfortable and have all the amenities you'd expect in a luxurious hotel room. The AC works well (believe me, you NEED it if you visit in the summers like we did), the pool is clean, the bathrooms are great. The food was superlative - we had exotic 3 course complimentary dinners every single evening. I suggest booking a minimum of 3 days to really get the most out of Kruger.

The fireplace is a top feature of this tent. Meals can be prepared in the well-fitted kitchen, which features a stovetop, a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea and coffee maker. Really great lodge right next to Kruger. We stayed here only for a night before driving into Kruger the next day, but it was such a good evening. When we arrived we immediately jumped into the refreshing pool and had a chat and a beer with the other people who stayed at the lodge. Then the owners of the lodge prepared an amazing braai for us and we ate together with everyone who stayed there, which was so cozy! Highly recommend if you are looking for a familial vibe and cozy hangout with other travellers.

Everyone were so polite, nice and tried to make our stay unforgetable. The game drives were really something, you experience only once in life. Special thanks to Sean, who drove us through fantastic locations and answered all of our quetions about. We saw 4 of bug five animals on one ride and saw many others. We did not see the leopards but seeing four black rhinos together was more rarely experience, and Sean told us he never in his life saw anything like that. The food was also amazing, they know exactly what they are doing. Thanks again. Stay here you won’t regret.

The tent features air conditioning, a private entrance, a terrace with garden views as well as a private bathroom boasting a bath. Although it's a tent, it has all the hotel facilities inside, and the service is also very high standard. The three meals are also very good. I even ran into an antelope on the less than 100 meter road to dinner one day. Of course, if it's just these hardware, this Lodge won't leave a very prominent impression. Safari's tour guide will do everything possible to help you find animals. They share information about animal presence and will not rush back due to a 3-hour time limit. Before coming to Kruger, we had seen some animals in Chobe and on our first day here, we collected big five, which we were quite satisfied with. But the next morning Safari collected big five at once, and the luckiest thing was to see a group of five lions, who were located on the border of their private territory. I sincerely recommend the highly cost-effective Umkumbe bush lodge, and I believe I will always remember the beautiful memories here.

You are going to the best in the business if you book at Isambane. The staff is super helpful, kind, fun, and always go above and beyond. Highly recommend this lodge if you search something more intimate. Food is amazing, the game drives are fun and rich, and everything is made for you to feel the best.

This tent is air-conditioned and features a private entrance, a coffee machine as well as a patio. All was perfect! The staff was very friendly, we thank Leandra and Danel for their help, Mateo and Robert for the beautiful game drives. The food was delicious, fresh and very abundant, the room/tent was just fabulous: clean, comfy and big. We heard hyenas and lions in the night, adding to the magical atmosphere. The pool was also amazing and one day we spotted three giraffes passing by. What an experience. We did 2 game drives per day and the spottings of animals were just great, all the big 5 plus many many more
