The breakfast was amazing, you'd easily be paying 15-20 euro for it elsewhere. Nothing was too much to ask. The rooms were comfortable and very clean with lovely decor. The area is beautiful and close to the bus stops that serve the island well in either direction, Lynotts luv just down the road is great. A lovely homely place that I will be recommending to everyone!

Genuinely dont know where to start as - even before we reached the place - we realized the exceptional service that was awaiting us. Not only did they accept us even post the their normal check-in timings - Alex for genuinely concerned about us - which was visible as we arrived - which was much more than anyone could ask for, and John going 'Above and Beyond' to help us with some wonderful Dinner - I dont think I would be able to justify in words how exceptional their service was and for sure would Visit again - and recommend others too :) Alex and John - Can't thank you'll enough!

There is nothing negative to say about this property. The owner was excellent at communicating with us. He made recommendations about stuff to do in Achill. We had the number of the caretaker also. It is so close to the beach, shop and a bar if you want to go for a drink. The beach across the road is stunning and not crowded. The cottage itself is just stunning- beautifully laid out with all equipment, utensils etc required for complete self catering. The house is actually bigger than the impression given in the photos. Loved the half door as you could keep the top open and watch the world go by. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back.

The location and view was incredible. Our hosts were very friendly and engaging and so knowledgeable. Breakfasts were the best best so far. Overall, Teach Cruachen felt warm and homey, and we would highly recommend.
