It is all about location, location, location. The view is exceptional. Room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Nice bed. Robert was a great host and super helpful. The homestay is still relatively new, but he's been in the area for years and knows it very well. Took a one day tour with him and a few other guests. It was fantastic. Things, culture, people, and places I never would have found otherwise. Wish I could have stayed longer.

We very like this homestay where we stayed 4nights. Easy to communicate in English with Feby, our super host who helped us in many ways : sim card, atm, taxi driver, laundry,...
The guesthouse is very nice with garden, secure parking, a lot of place for kids can play, ...
kitchen, fridge, air con, laudry available.
The room was confortable with big bed and the pillow and bed sheets were so soft and confortable.
All is perfect. We will come back again!

The view is superb right from the room balcony. The hosts are great with their hospitality and personalised services. You feel like home right away. We chit chat everyday like an old friend. Breakfast is nice too. The guesthouse is on Gado-Gado hill and it is close to the paragliding base. Perfect sunset view.

quiet little homestay just outside padang with amazing sunset views. rooms are simple but clean. Robert is a great host, providing information and pick up service from/to airport/ferry. they also rent out a scooter to explore the area.
great place to stay if you prefer a more quite surrounding and don't mind a 10 minute scooter ride to the city for shopping eat

The View guest house has stunning views overlooking Air Manis. Wonderful, friendly, helpful host. Clean rooms and a good breakfast. Walking distance to beachside village and Air Manis. Also possible to walk into town along a quiet cement trail with lovely trees etc. (pedestrians and the odd motorbike only). You can see monkeys along the trail and also some interesting Chinese graves. The guesthouse is in the perfect spot.
Beautiful sunsets from verandah and front rooms.
