A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Ubud – Truly Felt Like Home I recently had the pleasure of staying at Naeera Guest House, and I can honestly say it was one of the most peaceful and memorable stays I’ve had in Bali. Tucked away in a quiet lane off Jalan Hanoman, this traditional Balinese house is the perfect blend of cultural charm and modern comfort. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully simple—with a cozy bed, hot shower, and a private balcony that opened up to a lush garden view. Mornings were my favorite—sitting outside with birds chirping, sipping hot Balinese coffee, and enjoying a delicious homemade breakfast prepared with care and served with a smile. Adi and his family are the soul of this place. So warm, welcoming, and genuine—it truly felt like I was staying with family. They were always available to help with recommendations, arrange transport, or simply share a kind conversation. Despite being just a short walk away from Ubud’s main attractions like the Monkey Forest and some fantastic cafés and yoga studios, the guest house itself is incredibly peaceful. I loved coming back to this little sanctuary after a day of exploring. If you’re looking for an authentic, heartfelt Balinese experience in Ubud—with comfort, calm, and real human connection—I can’t recommend Naeera Guest House enough. I’ll definitely be back!

This place is *PERFECTION*. - super clean & brand new (+room cleaned every day) - spacious rooms - clean, large bathroom - kettle & water provided in room (+coffee/tea sachets) - CUTEST staff Stayed for two weeks here, felt like a second home. The value for money is unbeatable. *Slightly* further out than other places that are right in the smack of the hussle. But still a 10-15 min scooter ride from wherever you wanna go in Ubud.

Staying at Nirwa 1 Guest House was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed getting to know the warm and friendly family. It was a very quiet location, but minutes away from the main downtown area of Ubud. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious!

Would 100% recommend Tiny House for your Ubud stay. This has only opened in the last month hence why there aren’t a lot of reviews, however it’s such an amazing stay! The rooms were beautiful and modern, they were also cleaned everyday! The location is great, it’s only around a 12 minute walk to the Main Street where there is restaurants/bars and markets, so it’s also a nice quiet area to stay for sleeping! The staff are absolutely lovely, also greeting you good morning/good night, or any other needs! We even booked another night onto our stay as we loved it here! This has been the best place we have stayed in Bali by far!! I would definitely return here if I was to stay in Ubud again! The pool is also a nice extra touch for those relaxing days!

The sweet family of the homestay made you feel at home. I received a text every day telling me what time I wanted to have breakfast. They even provided filtered water to me every day. The room and bathroom are very new and therefore very clean. I would go there again in a heartbeat.
