What a wonderful surprise to have discovered B&B Stirnimann for our two night stay while touring Switzerland. The area is peaceful and lovely and the stay was everything we could ever want and more. Our hosts offered us a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The accommodations were not just clean but absolutely spotless and our room was cozy, spacious and very comfortable. We were allowed to use the full kitchen and living room and porch in addition to our room and that was such a treat for us on our long trip. The best part you ask? The best part was Hedi our host who we instantly adored. She is a gracious, funny, kind and friendly force of nature who made sure we were comfortable, offered touring and local information and provided us with a full delicious breakfast. There are some people and places that enhance a trip in special ways that you know you will never forget. Staying at B&B Stirnimann and meeting Hedi will hold a special place in our memory and we hope to return someday.

Ambrosia Guesthouse nabízí pokoje v destinaci Rheinfelden. Jen 18 km odtud se nachází Katedrála Basilej a Pfalz Basilej je 18 km daleko. Rheinfelden is a wonderful town, well connected but also top notch in itself for history, events and proximity to hikes. The property and owners make it extremely simple for us to check-in, have a kitchen available at all times, ask questions but also have privacy. The beds are super comfortable and there’s all the amenities you could need.

The faculties were great, clean, modern, comfortable. The breakfast staff were helpful and attentive, with great coffee and bread with jams. And the location was walking distance to most in-town things.

Gasthof zur Waag byl postaven v roce 1586 a nachází se v Bad Zurzachu, v blízkosti řeky Rýn, na okraji Černého lesa. This was a lovely hotel in an old building with a beautiful courtyard. Our room was quite comfortable. Our hosts and all staff were so accommodating and helpful and the food was exceptional for dinner and breakfast! It was close to the train station to take a day trip to Zurich. I just wish we could have stayed longer.
