We have spent 5 days here and it was the best experience from our trip around Egypt. Laurice and her sisters-in-law were always so kind, they made amazing breakfast and dinner. The place is clean, cozy and quiet, equipped with all you need and you can also find a bookshelf where you can read books in English and French language. There is nothing wrong. Trip to any historical site in the area with a guide or without for a very reasonable price. Nothing wrong here, Egypt mystery by European standards. We didn't want to leave this beautiful place because it was like leaving a family or best friends, this is the true vibe of Kemet House.

The owner was very kind and allowed me a late check-in due to my evening flight. Just a minute’s walk from the property is the Nile, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and watch hot air balloons floating in the morning sky. The room I stayed in offered a partial Nile view. It’s an affordable, comfortable place, and I highly recommend it.

This is a nice place to stay, if you plan to visit the West side of Luxor. Its close to everything and at the same time very peaceful and quiet. The room is clean and spacious, food is delicious, wifi is strong, the young care taker of the place is kind and helpful.

The room was exactly what we needed—simple and clean. The breakfast offered a variety of local products and was absolutely delicious. The location was excellent, very close to everything on the east side and easily accessible on foot. What truly made the difference were the owners. They were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they spoke excellent English, which made communication very easy. They provided us with lots of helpful information on how to avoid scams, and we felt comfortable asking them anything that came to mind. They also made us feel completely at home, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay. Even when we had an issue with our transfer to Aswan, they gave us clear and practical instructions on what to do and what to avoid. Overall, it was a truly excellent experience, best value for money accommodation and of course with the kindest people.

Clean, good breakfast, hot water (don’t take a 30 minute shower though, this is still Egypt), attentive and friendly staff, interesting other guests, competitive rates, strategic location, good views.

This is an incredible value for the price as you’ll stay in a modern, clean APARTMENT with living room, full fridge, kitchen and bathroom apart from the bedroom. Bedroom has AC and other areas have a fan, which was fine. Top notch service from Ibrahim, Mustafa and others. We felt they are the most honest people we’ve met in Egypt and didn’t try to scam us even once. Ibrahim even told us how much things ought to cost in town and what scams to avoid. They offer fair prices for tours, food, transportation and other services and were always willing to help up run errands or even take care of our baby a few minutes so we could eat breakfast peacefully. Speaking of breakfast, it was delicious and plentiful every day, unlike in other budget hotels we’ve been at in Egypt. Take their transportation from the airport as you’ll be ripped off or unable to find a taxi like us! Uber doesn’t work like in Cairo and taxi prices are much higher in Luxor. Definitely choose West Bank for a rural feel and daily Nile crossings which we loved!

From the very beginning, we were impressed by the helpfulness and professionalism of the staff, who were always accommodating without any pressure, bargaining, or expectation of tips. The room was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. Breakfasts were excellent, diverse, and delicious. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation to others!
