From the moment you walk in they welcome you with big smiles and a delicious watermelon drink. There’s a lot of love in this place and attention to detail. The breakfast is also delicious! They have really great recommendations, Sammie even recommended me a great dentist that helped me with my tooth pain! Love love loved it 😍

Rumah Kawan Senaru House of Friend er staðsett í Senaru, 1,4 km frá Sindang Gila-fossinum og 2,6 km frá Tiu Kelep-fossinum. Gististaðurinn er með garð og garðútsýni. I stayed for just one night here as I was off to climb Rinjani the next morning - so I just needed a comfortable bed/room, and as for the rest - ask and you shall be given (usually). Agung and Tina were kind enough to lend me their travel adapter, and Tina even made me a herbal drink to help settle my tummy before the climb. And the 3 kids of course, what a delight to see them running around! And breakfast was right on the dot, needless to mention delicious :)

Tatasya heimagisting er með garð og er staðsett í Senaru, 1,1 km frá Sindang Gila-fossinum, 2,2 km frá Tiu Kelep-fossinum og 20 km frá Umar Maya-fossinum. I love this homestay as the family welcomes you like their own family. Great location, very clean, great warm shower, easy access to two amazing waterfalls by walking, easy for pickup for your Rinjani summit. The homestay also has a restaurant with great and delicious food menu, and great internet access. And also can arrange the trekking for you. There are lots of homestay around but this family are so kind you won’t regret booking with them. The price both for accommodation and food is so good you want to stay longer. For those doing the Rinjani summit, I recommend staying one night before and after your trekking here so you get to explore and rest both. To great owner, both Addy and his kind wife, I never forget your kindness and hope to see you soon again.

Secret Spot Surf and Stay Hostel er staðsett í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Kuta-ströndinni og 43 km frá Narmada-garðinum í Kuta Lombok en það býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. Location is great, close to the main street, but far from the noise area. Breakfast is delicious. The staff is outstanding, super friendly. This is the best hostel I have been so far. Vibes are 10/10.

Rinjani Eco Villa Senaru býður upp á fjallaútsýni og gistirými með verönd, í um 1,8 km fjarlægð frá Tiu Kelep-fossinum. We booked originally for 3nights to explore Senaru and ended up staying for a week. We stayed in double room and villa and both options perfect, clean with hot water and super comfy bed. Breakfast has two options between omelette or pancakes with a coffee or tea and you can order delicious local food all day in the restaurant as well. And for fresh coconut the guys climb on the on closest palm for you! The whole team is super friendly and really helpful with anything. Little guitar jam sessions with a rice wine in the evening makes the whole atmosphere even more perfect. Cute dog Blossom and cat Susa are always around if you need some fluffy companion or a tour guild in the rice fields. Just be mindful that the Villa is situated 5mins drive from the main road on a gravel road. We booked a Rinjani trekking on a reception and could not be happier with our trip. We went together with other quests from the Villa and it was amazing super well organised experience from the beginning till the end.

The food was among the best I've had in Indonesia after nearly 2 months traveling here! The staff were wonderful, extremely kind and helpful, and the tour we did with them was amazing!

Jeannie and Josch were so welcoming and friendly - taught us all about the plants / animals on their farm, cooked for us really good food and even helped us with our ferry to Bali! Appreciate it :) The room was really pleasant as well!

The stay in Tetebatu was my first ever experience of Indonesia and, wow! - was I absolutely smitten with its simplicity and beauty. The price of accommodation is so minuscle that it only makes sense to support homestay owners by joining on their local tours. After all, they offer not just their time, but their valuable local experience. Walk with them the rice fields, see and hear about the agriculture, jump into the cave waterfalls, watch the local ladies weave sarongs and make clay pottery, drive to the local market and ask your hosts to explain the local foods. If you are not the hike-or-die type, ask your hosts to bring you up to the foothills of Rinjani - and breathe in silence... I've seen and felt in a week more than I would do in two months back home. Also, very important!, as a solo female traveller I felt very safe with my hosts. I felt protected, respected and genuinely understood.

Most amazing host we have met on the island! Totally in love with the vibe of the place and all the cute animals. Will definitely come back!
