This place has the comfort, cleanliness, facilities of a resort at the price of a homestay so shoutout to the owners, Andy and Esni! I ended up staying 2 additional nights because I liked it so much. Food was great. The hotel is solar powered (!) which also means that you get electricity 24h/day and they bring plastic back to Waisai instead of burning it which also means no smell of burnt plastic here - these are exceptional things for Raja Ampat. The jetty is great and you can see so much from there at night. And finally I cannot highlight how clean the place is and not a single cockroach or rat to be seen around the rooms/restaurants. Beautiful snorkeling on the house reef.

Paparisa homestay was amazing! Rio and his Team are taking really good care that everyone has a lovely stay and help where they can to arrange transportation or daytrips or diving. The bungalows are very clean, spacious and well equipped. We even had our own bathroom which is definitely a luxury on the island! Overall a great place to relax and enjoy the island life. The Food was also very good and there was also lots of variety, even though I am vegetarian :) Definitely one of the best places to stay in raja ampat!

The guesthouse is quaint, located in a quiet area of town. The room was exactly what we needed after a long journey to Raja Ampat. Our hostess was very gracious and helpful. We will be going to stay there again.

The view from the bungalow is simply stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. The hosts were friendly and helpful, always making sure guests felt comfortable. The food was fresh and tasty, with delicious local fish and fruits served every day. It’s an ideal spot for snorkeling and exploring nearby islands — the underwater life here is absolutely incredible. A wonderful place to relax, disconnect, and enjoy the natural beauty of Raja Ampat!

The resort is beautiful, the water had different blue and green colors everyday, beautiful sunrise and sunsets. T The food that had taste of love, really we travel a lot and never saw a home made food SO great. The crew took us to the best dive spots we have ever been with security and the diver was super dedicated to give us good experience. Ramdhan helped us with everything we needed and more. We never wanted to live. Finally we will miss our cat friends Puri, Puti and the others. Good location, private bathroom, excelent bed, great food, nothing to worry but enjoy. Amazing snorkeling roght in front of the resort full of fish and colorfuk corals.

So amazing here, we were watching little sharks and beautiful fish right under our hut, the staff were so kind and lovely, the children were great, they were catching fish along our walkway, they always said hello, gave us high-fives and fist bumps , I got given a nautilus shell by the family, so good here

Value for money homestay perfect for divers. Located just outside the centre of Waisai, with a rental scooter you can quickly reach your chosen dive centre and local restaurants etc. Wawan the owner is efficient and friendly, so if you don’t ride a bike, he will sort your transportation for a good price. Breakfast is fine (omelette, toast, fruit), served by Cino who cleans the rooms etc, and is usually on hand to deal with any problems you might have.
