He even provided a room for our driver since we arrived much later than expected due to the long line of vehicles waiting to get on the ferry from Parapat to Samosir. We really appreciated everything he did for us.

The staff were so great. Andi organised us a great jungle tour and we saw heaps of orangutans. They also got us scooters to hire which was very helpful. The breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. Pancakes or scrambled egg on toast with a plate of fresh fruit. Great value for money, definitely recommend.

It is all about location, location, location. The view is exceptional. Room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Nice bed. Robert was a great host and super helpful. The homestay is still relatively new, but he's been in the area for years and knows it very well. Took a one day tour with him and a few other guests. It was fantastic. Things, culture, people, and places I never would have found otherwise. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Comfortable beds, beautifully decorated room, amazing tropical garden, delicious food in the restaurant, the well organised and executed overnight tour into the jungle (yes, we were lucky to see orangutans in the wild) But it is the people working at the Orangutan discovery villa that made our stay unforgettable - highly hospitable, accommodating, genuine in every way. If we are ever to go back to Bukit Lawang it will be the this place.

Excellent family that made feel as a member of their warm and kind community ❤️ They treated me so kind, they were helpful and took care of me what was really nice. Thank you 😊 Their jungle trekking also was high-quality in service, attention and entertainment. I stayed several weeks instead of a few days, def would like to come back.

SeaGate Bungalows í Sabang býður upp á gistirými, einkastrandsvæði, garð og garðútsýni. We had the most amazing stay at Seagate bungalow. The location is fantastic, a secluded bay with incredible snorkelling out front halfway between Sabang and Gapang. The bungalow has great hot shower, mini fridge, drinking water, tea and coffee, mosquito net over the bed, fan and even an hammock on the terrace. Plus Broja and Yunyun are the loveliest hosts, gave us great tips, and Yunyun prepares the best breakfasts. We never wanted to leave!
